Pathways to Wholeness
5 Key Paths
Philosopher and transpersonal psychologist Ken Wilber distinguishes 5 key pathways to wholeness.
Waking Up – the experience of spiritual enlightenment
Growing Up – the path of developing ability to see the world from perspectives ever more different than our own
Cleaning Up – the path of developing ability to recognise and integrate our ‘shadow‘, all the things we don’t like about ourselves
Opening Up – the path of exploring areas of knowledge and skill we have not yet explored and developed
Showing Up – the path of contributing to the world what we alone can contribute

Following an intuition I had early on that being and feeling ‘whole’ was going to be an ultimate aim in my life, I have explored – mainly unconsciously and unsystematically – all of the pathways mentioned above. Following these paths has led me to develop a diverse skill set and identity: singer-composer, performance and life coach, theologian, NLP Master Trainer, certified Creative Mind Coach, musical theater director, Ecstatic Dance event organizer and DJ, co-founder of the arts-integrated school Tagesschule Sesam, professor emeritus in instructional design at the Thurgau University of Teacher Education and certified Lomi Lomi practitioner, among others.
One of my strong beliefs is that, on a deep level, we are already and always perfect, whole, and complete – just as we are. However, this sense of wholeness doesn’t always reflect how we feel in our everyday lives.
If you sense in yourself a desire for a deeper experience of wholeness in your life, it would be an honor for me to be a guide for you on this journey and accompany you on paths to waking up, growing up, cleaning up, opening up and showing up that will be uniquely yours.
